There were 3 people who were at that time the incident took place .... the 2 agents and a known member of a drug cartel ... whose van was packed with drugs ... the guards testimony said he drew what looked like a gun ... I'm sure this guy who was transporting that value of drugs would have a gun, and it's certain he would have ... anyway, it seems rather severe that the prosecution would go to such extremes to prosecute 2 law enforcement agents with years of clean service based on evidence of member of a Drug Cartel, who again certainly would carry a weapon and give him full amnesty and residency in the U.S. for his word against these 2 agents. What message are they trying to get across ... it certainly would be a different story if these guys shot as I said previously some innocent Mexican sneaking across the border for work.

As previously mentioned it is a known fact that this smuggler again transported $1m worth of drugs across the border while going through the process of obtaining his amnesty and residency for giving his word against the agents .... this evidence was not allowed to be presented in the trial.

I'm not condoning excessive force of law enforcemnt agents ... but sometimes priorities and energy are applied to protect the 'bad'.
