Just got back from Snaith and the celebration of Ian's life. It were a 'reet good do'with no morbidity about it. Ian didn't 'do' morbidity. Even the clergy wore red stoles instead of purple and the coffin was a sight to behold - VERY large and heavy :-). So much so that it couldn't be cremated with him because of the steel plate in it.

Andrea did not disgrace herself in any way and she and all of the family seem to be coping well at the moment. When asked what was going to happen to his ashes I was told that some of them are going to keep on travelling, being left in various parts of the world as family members visit them. So far this includes New Zealand and Egypt!

Thanks for today Andi and Co. A true celebration of life.
