So the Ship tradition will continue. This is very good news indeed. Mention of Percy Webb reminds me of my meetings with him, a lively character, a smashing singer. I sang often at the Ipswich folk club in the days when it was at the Gardeners Arms. Percy used to turn up there. He was convinced that I was Rolf Harris and would regularly ask me to sing 'Two Little Boys'. He was an excitable bloke who thoroughly enjoyed his nights at the folk club. It's good to see that his mane is still remembered. There was an excellent Irish fiddler there too, named Monty if I remember correctly. Much success to the Ship and all who sail and sing in her.
