Well, yes, but I'm still wondering if I owe the Estate of Tom Glazer for every time I've sung "Gopher Guts" and "On Top of Spaghetti." I've always thought they were truly traditional, but wiser souls than I say Tom Glazer wrote both of 'em.
But did he?

Maybe he revised them so he could claim a copyright. But Tom Glazer wouldn't do that, since he's a Folk Icon.
Or would he?
