Subject: Tech: small amp combo for Baritone guitar ?
ok.. so far i've got a traditional Danelectro [korean reissue]Baritone
tuned standard B->b
and a 6 string bass tuned higher up to G->g..

so what do you guys think would be an optimal compromise low watt combo amp
for playing clear chords and drone riffs ?

a standard guitar combo,
or a small bass combo ?

i prefere 'modern' transistor amps for pragmatic convenience.

[line out for recording / mic-up for gigging]

I've already got a collection of 10 or 15 watt guitar combos with speakers
ranging from 6" to 10"..

but i dont want to continue risking damaging any of 'em with potential explosive sub-bass vibrations..

....so obviously i could be looking for an excuse
to buy a decent easily portable 15 to 30 watt bass combo..

but i'm not too keen on anything with a speaker bigger than 10"
because i want to limit boomy muddy bass frequencies..

also curious to know what would have been the definitive industry standard amp/speakers
for baritone guitars back in the 1960's..????
