Don't know about this one, but our singing teacher also plays violin. Last year she got a new violin, and she said she got their attention by saying "first off, I'm having *that* bow". Which was a £1k carbon-fibre one. :-) She gave it to me one lesson to try, and I have to say it was lovely - like a guitar with good action, the notes just happen without all the hassle.
Thing is though, I've never seen why it should be £1k for one of those. Apparently this is hand-made by some German guy who only produces a few dozen a year. This is just stupid - carbon-fibre is ideally designed for mass-production, so if he's got the right design, all he needs is some investment in kit and he could make a killing selling these perfect bows for a hundred quid or less. If the Incredibow people have figured this out, more power to them.
