Roxio Toast only runs on Toasters.

The Windows equivalent is Roxio EZ-CD (at least approximately).

A legal copy of either is about $80, and the version appropriate to your OS is a good investment if you're going to do much CD burning. Roxio is somewhat better at handling data burns, but if you do primarily music CDs you may (or may not) prefer "Nero Burning ROM," the other popular "commercial" burner program. There are lots of other options as well.

If you only do an occasional CD, WinXP has built-in utilities that are adequate, and the procedures are fairly clearly described, at the KB link way back up above or in the WinXP HELP files if you choose to violate the macho protocol and

        RTFM.
