I've got a few records that are 40 years old or so and want to tape them for posterity. Is there a way to hook up a setup to tape them directly from the phonograph output, without going through speaker into microphone to tape recorder? Hope my question is clear. I suppose there are more sophisticated possbilities too, like recording it to a sound file? I haven't a clue how that might be done, but it sounds worthwhile.
