Thread Name: Lyr Req: The Master of Blue Galilee
Subject: Lyr Add: I'M MOVING HOME SOMEDAY
At Mom's memorial the words from another song she wrote was typed up into a bookmark and passed out to all of us. Thanks to my Sis's and their families for this effort. I am including the words to that song for others who might take solace in the words.

I'M MOVING HOME SOMEDAY

Here we often contemplate moving
And the thought brings us heartaches and pain.
When our loved ones we leave, at the parting we grieve,
For we wonder if we will meet again.
But I know that someday I'll be moving
Where the sun shines brighter than day.
Earth's sorrows will soon be forgotten.
I'm moving up home some day.

CHORUS: I'm moving up home where the trials never come,
For my Savior is leading the way.
All earth's trials will soon pass forever.
I'm moving home someday.

When I move, I'll not bother with packing,
For He's promised a robe of pure white,
And a crown then I'll wear
With the saints over there,
In that city where Christ is the light.
Earthly treasures will lose all their value
When I hear him say, "Child, come away."
I'll drop all these flesh robes behind me,
For I'm moving up home someday.

There are loved ones awaiting my coming,
Who have crossed over Jordan's rough tide.
As redeemed they shall stand in the heavenly land,
Close by my Savior's side.
And sometimes when I'm longing to see them,
It seems I can hear Jesus say,
"Take courage, my child. Be thou faithful.
You're moving up home some day."
