Are you living in the Canada that's just north of the USA and south of the North Pole? I live in that one, and indeed poverty does exist here and we have a problem with it. If those idiots at the Fraser Institute are who you are listening to (they deem $15,000 yearly as sufficient income for a family of four), then maybe we don't. But Canucks themselves figure $26,000 is more realistic) then hell, there's no problem here.
