G'day folktheatre and Charley,
Well, some of us have survived ... and are getting through our first lunch break back in harness! It was a great Festival - and I'll know how well I enjoyed it when I pick up 900 (or more) prints covering the Festival set-up / Easter Master Classes / National Folklore Conference ... oh - and the Festival itself!
I'm not really good on Johnny Ashcroft's repertoire, but I would be pretty sure that he either wrote this song himself, or it was written for him. I'll see if I can come up with a better answer with a bit of research ... but not on work's time.
