Just for info (because it's neither silly nor vulgar), longest village name in England is All Saints and St Nicholas South Elmham, in Suffolk. (Oh, and that should have been Loose, Kent, a few postings back.)

Don't trust names, though - I once went to live near Gobblecock Hall in the hopes that it would be a good omen that would last me through life. Like I say, don't trust names.
