At 0142 and 44 seconds we had a 5.0 shaker about 39 miles from hereabout 7 miles west of Lake Pillsbury in northern CA. There were a couple of distinct aftershock. I was in bed at the time watching the news when it felt as though someone was jouncing my bed from underneath as kids do a bunk bed. There was a series of up and down jolts, a pause and then another series of similar jolts. Then a low roar started and the entire house shook and rattled but no damage.
