I remember the first time I ever heard someone cover Soldier in a folk club. It remains one of the most powerful songs I have ever heard.

"Writer of Songs" is really great album. I was SO pleased to be able to track it down on CD about 8 years ago. Up until then all I had was an old tape of a friend covering Hey Sandy.
