Recently our early music group met, and we played a dance tune called "First Night," which I found in Peter Barnes' "English Country Dance Tunes." (1986 edition)

This is a 6/8 piece in Em. The group loved it and declared it a keeper. The book gives no date or source for it. Does anybody know anything about it?
