Thread Name: Jeff Warner UK Spring Tour: Apr-May 07
Subject: Jeff Warner UK Spring Tour: Apr-May 07
Guest: BB here with my semi-annual announcement about Jeff Warner's current UK tour. He's just arrived for a stay of about a month, and has no fewer than 16 gigs this time. He begins in London, then rambles about from Cornwall to Tyne & Wear, and even over to Wales (at last!!), with many other stops in between. In my thread of last autumn , I posted this reminder of who I'm talking about:

"For those who can't quite remember right now why his name looks familiar, Jeff is the son of Frank and Anne Warner, eminent collectors of American folk songs from the 1930s to the 1950s. He plays banjo, guitar and concertina, as well as small "pocket-instruments" and sings primarily traditional American songs in acoustic performance. For years, he worked with Jeff Davis, but has been more-or-less a solo artist for the past 7 or 8 years."

And this thread announces his solo CD release, September 2005.
