My daughter is at the vet's as I write with Miz Nanny Dizzy, the pit bull matriarch who watches over my grandson, his mom, and the rest of the household. It looks as though Diz has had a stroke, or something. With the clarity of a three year old, Morgan took my breath away when I went over to get him and he said, "Dizzy's gonna be dead." We did a meditation and prayer for her right after that, so he understands that may not be the case. I know he's got to learn about death, probably through loss of a pet, at some point, but Diz is the neatest, nicest, sweetest dog...I really don't want it to be her that teaches him this.

Please send some thoughts or what have you to Dizzy and my dau., Rue, as they wait at the vet's, etc. Dizzy is very broad and is mostly black. I'll try to post a picture of her later today.
