Thank you so much, everybody, for all your kind words, shared memories, anecdotes, and good wishes. These things really do help to keep a person with us, and listening to those beautiful, old recordings is a very powerful experience indeed. My mom really did have her own style,in everything she did, right up to the end. When she signed her DNR she promptly burst into Finnigan's Wake, and sang it in it's entirety. It really cracked me up.One of the songs she wanted us to sing together fairly often in the last 6 months was Footprints In The Snow. So, it's been going through my head;
"Now she's up in heaven, she's with the angel band
I know I'm going to meet her in that promised land
Every time the snow falls it brings back memories..." and so on. Yeah, fond memories. Kathy
