Aine and Amos - Thanks. I had almost forgotten about the fact that Channel 5 announced that the church I go to was "leveled". One of my best friends and singing partners works there. It was fine but the church two blocks away was heavily damaged. The tornado somehow managed to bounce over it going from the damaged parts of downtown - the Tandy center and Bank One to get to the other church. When I look at all the damage I have to tell myself that this was a small tornado. Grade 1 or 2 at most. The real tragedy of course is the loss of life. All the buildings can be replaced.

The song about the Galveston flood keeps running through my mind. "Wasn't that a mighty storm - it blew all the people away" After this week I'm looking forward to the Tom Paxton concert this weekend.
