Aldus - yes, I think that we should have a very specific definition of common sense. Most people I meet don't seem to either have or use common sense. It's become downright uncommon. We should also have definitions for civil, respect, courtesy, chivalry, rational, helpful, etc. I think it says a lot (and not flattering) about our society that those things don't have a common, well-known definition. For two people to communicate, they need to have the same definition for a word.I find it very insulting that you refer to one of my thoughts as "feeble." Is that how that was intended?
