Since I can see that the house in the next street that usually celebrates national days is flying the appropriate flag today (while Guildford Castle has nothing flying at all - yet celebrates other events), it occurs to me to wish everyone a happy St George's Day. Guildford seems to be celebrating with a St George's Day Farmer's Market and "traditional events" - on reading through the list of proposed events I couldn't actually see anything that struck me as being traditional in OUR sense of the word. Hey ho!
