Those of you who live around Romford will know Maureen & Keith, who sing at (among other places)
Havering Folk Club Blackmore Folk Club Romford Folk Club
Well, they are LEAVING blighty to go and live in SPAIN and thus leaving a giganitic hiatus here on the ESSEX folk scene.
Maureen writes here own stuff (and also sings other peoples from time to time !) has a cracking voice, sings and plays well, and her partner, Keith (virtually a beginner) is coming along very nicely indeed and singing and playing extremely well.
They are having a "SPECIAL EVENING" ON WED 25th April 2007 to say goodbye to all of us fans and it would be ESPECIALLY GREAT if anyone and everyone can try and make it to :
