Just been out to the Farmer's market in Guildford town, and celebrated by buying some Sussex Slipcote cheese, damson fruit drink, and turkey sausages - and the only sign of celebration in the town that I could see? A stall from the St George's Appreciation Society (or whatever it's name was), manned by what looked like a retired, besuited and tied ex-colonel and two young ladies, with lots of St george's flags, and white balloons with red crosses on them ..... not precisely what I'd call traditional myself!! :-(
I'd love to listen to those Gordon, but at the moment my machine is refusing to play sounds - even glummer face!
