Ya'know, I did the very same thing a year or so ago. First, I cursed for eight or ten minutes without repeating myself. Then, I opened up the case, blotted up all of the wine (a very undistinguished red, BTW) with a damp cloth, and let it dry. It acted very weird for about a week (and I was sure I'd be replacement shopping), then it calmed down and has been fine ever since.
