I'm one of these people who always has a visual idea of somebody and I'm usually totally wrong. It shouldn't change a person's view but it sometimes does and that's often based on something the person may have said or done that may seem appropriate coming from one "gender" rather than the other.
It's like these authors who take a different name.
I absolutely love having the door opened for me etc.
I have wondered about the women at Wimbledon getting equal pay to the men when the men are expected to go to 5 sets, if necessary, and the maximum for the women is 3.
