By the way, I was working at a community college in the 1970s where a similar scandal took place. The dean in charge of health-related programs such as nursing and dental hygiene got busted for falsifying his credentials. He claimed to have bachelor's and master's degrees in nursing and a doctorate in education. Turned out the only legitimate post-secondary credentials he had was certification as an Emergency Medical Technician. I've always sort of admired the guy's nerve, if not his ethics.
