Thanks, Charley, for your voice of reason and experience. If they get away with such when youngsters, it can turn into much worse as they get older. Bullying and hate need to be stopped. Remember way back when Rick Fielding posted about being "ethically" conscious? Making a choice based on what is ethical? Nothing wrong with that; anyone who cries about PC should stop to think about EC.

I might also note that most of you who are deriding this story are generally not in the minority, that we know of. It is safe for you to make fun and post derisive comments.

Ebbie, thanks to you, too, for considering us "veggies" and how the smell and site of raw and/or cooking meat can turn our stomachs, etc. I have grown more used to it, at others' houses, but in the past it has made me physically ill.
