Hi - Never heard of this song until I bought "The Best of Flaco Jimenez" by Arhoolie Records.

The accordion playing is fantastic, but I bought the album for that reason, in the first place.

Drugs and drinking songs have been around for centuries. I don't smoke anything and a six pack of a microbrew lasts me for2 months, yet I enjoy the music, the innuendoes in the lyrics and the spirit of the piece.

Being a musician (Pianola roll aranger/publisher) who's pushing 70, I can name many songs of the 'Teens through the 'Thirties with sex, drugs and/or alcohol references, yet I enjoy them for what they are.

Just an old man's opinion.
