Next week,Appalachian friends and neighbors will be in NYC, rallying at the UN against Mountain Top Removal. Some will gather with us for a concert, "Music for the Mountains," on Tuesday evening May 8 at 7:30 PM, at St. Mary's Episcopal church, 521 W. 126th St. between Broadway and Amsterdam. Songs and stories from people struggling to save their communities, their homes,their precious places. My family and I will be there. Please help save the Appalachian Mountains.
