Prior to being the Tap & Spile the Cutty was a camerons house
Prior to being the Cutty which was built in 1932 on the site of what was once Jutland Cottage and a wharehouse - the pub was actually below Jutland Cottage and was called The Railway Inn.
There was a fire which destroyed the original buildings and the Cutty was built as is.
