To be sure, Barack will have benefited from the progress of Civil Rights champions ... I don't mean to downplay that. We have all benefited from that movement in our society - but Barack is certainly entitled to go his own way and is not obliged to follow Al or Jesse or any other black leader. He should not be labeled as an Uncle Tom or an Oreo for doing so ...
