It was a good article but it didn't resolve Amos' first point about the generalization. I have a feeling (without supporting evidence) that an anticipated/expected/accepted link between illegal immigrants and property crime is very tenuous. There are those among us who enjoy accepting it as true and as justification for unfounded and even malicious bias which should not be encouraged.

If there was a strong link between undocumented immigrants and property crime I would expect it to be fairly easy to document.
