I haven't seen it, but I will if I get a chance. The reporter I read said the verdict was about right. I will not comment any further until I see it. There have been scandalous verdicts in boxing history, but I think there have been less in recent years. One thing many people do not appreciate, is that no points are supposed to be scored when the inside of the glove strikes the opponent. That is regarded as a slap rather than a punch. There have been fights in which one fighter landed a lot of those but (rightly) lost the fight on points. Hope the thread stays up long enough to get more replies and maybe I will see the fight soon...
