Hey, since I see this is a Holy Modal Rollers chat I thought I would ask a question that I have already posted another topic for. They (the Rollers) covered a song called "Better things for you" which also appeared on the Anthology of American Folk Music. Does anyone know the lyrics to that song. Especially the name that goes _____ was humble he prayed to God each day, but that was not sufficient he did not kneel to pray. The blank there at the beginning is where the name goes....anyone know that name
