I'm not against workshops, but in moderation. As part of a festival I'm all for them - it's the idea of clubs getting into a pattern of regular teaching for singing that makes me a little bit uneasy. And I got the feeling people posting had been welcoming the idea of formal teaching with arms a little too wide open.
