You see...I am satirizing the ignorance and stereotyping. Understood? Has that not been the basis of a simply tremendous amount of popular humor in the last hundred years or so? For instance, Red Skelton satirized common stereotypes about country bumpkins with characters like Clem Kadiddlehopper. This was clearly not because Red Skelton really thought country people were all dumb hayseeds, was it? And country people did not take offence from the satire, they loved it.
