Those within striking distance of Kiveton Park Folk Club (Sheffield area) might like to know that our guest next Tuesday, 15th May, is Roy Clinging. A well respected performer of 30 years experience, Roy sings trad and self-penned songs, many of a maritime theme, or about the history, life and times of his native Cheshire, all this accompanied by skillful concertina or guitar work. A regular at festivals and clubs both here and the US, he's well worth seeing. There'll be a few opportunities to get yer gob around a chorus also! Great performer, friendly crowd, free grub, cheap bar, crap night on telly, so get yerself down to the club. Kick-off 8.30. Admission £4 non-members, all welcome as ever.
