I had a friend who had a lemon sized tumor on his brain at the age of 26. The doctors gave him three months, but he lived for another year. He died at home the way he wanted, looking into his wife's eyes, taking his last breath, with his young children around his bed. He went through radiation and had steroids, but the tumor kept growing. He had some pain meds at the end, but was aware of his surroundings until he passed away. The doctors can't predict the future. If you can take it a day at a time and be home with him with hospice visiting care, maybe you can have more family time together. Take care. I'm sorry for your situation.
