...as a forum watcher since 97 I think the primary issue in contention here is that there are a lot of people now who post thousands of messages which are just chatty. I for one, have gotten fed up with the monopolizers and the irrelevant chit chat. I liked Mudcat better before this began to happen. Now when I see certain names, I am discouraged, angered, irritated, and increasingly contentious myself over the overblown egotistical compulsive chit chat...What's really disturbing is these people are ignoring the fact that this is what is causing so much dissatisfaction among forum goers...Don't you people understand this??????
