The mistake, Sorcha, is to try to read any serious intent into it. It's not actually anybody "trying to restore the lost glories of the Mudcat" or "acting as the true conscience" and so forth. It's just one or two bored people playing games and getting a kick out of getting noticed and messing up the playpen. Keeps em off then streets.
