Our two regular sized coryodorus catfish earned their keep by being cute and playful - chasing each other and tumbling around the tank like puppies. Now that they are seven years old they are pretty elderly for that kind of fish, and they've kind of retired to the bottom of the tank and gotten quieter, but the tiny young pygmy cory cats who hatched in our tank a few months ago still dart around and hover over the plants like hummingbirds. It's amusing and calming to watch.

Our old Johann, the weatherloach that's no longer with us, used to predict the weather, whipping his 1/2 inch wide, 6 inch long body all around the tank when rainy weather was in the offing.
