We got something similar the other day. Apparently, they kindly bought us a ticket and once we've given them our bank account (and every other) details they will take a small percentage before they pay in the money.

It's sad really because some people do fall for it.

A few years ago a friend of mine came back from holiday to find she'd won a couple of thousand pounds on the Pools. The cheque was in an envelope that looked like junk mail and she said that she very nearly tore it up without opening it.
