Have just heard from a neighbor that the detective who interviewed her was forthcoming. I'm in shock--The gentleman neighbor shot a man. The fellow has been arrested. Clearly he was taken out before I got to my post at midnight.

He shot a man in the leg--I know not why. So the ground searches must have been for spent cartridges?

This neighbor is (was) polite, quiet, funny & thoughtful. He would, on occasion , shovel my snow & leave a plant on my steps. Even put air in my tires once. Dubbed me "The official old lady on the block."
