An Update: My neighbor is still in jail-hired a lawyer this am. The bail is $50,000. There was nothing illegal found in his house. The purp was so high when he went to the hospital he was treated without pain killers. The wound in the thigh was benign enough that the purp was walking around all day yesterday.

I have only now learned that this young man is a known crackhead & I had dealings with him 15 yrs. ago. I returned home from shopping one day and as I approached my screened in porch-he suddenly came running out. I said what are you doing on my property? He let out with the usual bad language. He clearly was trying to break in to my house.   His parents have had nothing to do with him for years.

The unfairness of the situation riles me. $50,000 bail for a 60 year old Vietnam vet who has never been in trouble seems totally crazy.
