Not only have we (in Kinvara, Galway) had cuckoos - we've had a fleadh (festival to you) to celebrate its arrival! Heard first local one about third week of April and have heard one most days since. I say "local" becuase about a week before that I heard one - in the south of France! He took a bit longer than Ryanair to get here.
