Subject: RE: Shepley Spring Festival...not long now!!
Just got back from the site after putting up the tent. Nikki was wearing a most "interesting" pair of wellies, multi-coloured, and I suspect they probably shine in the dark. I managed to get by in plain ordinary trainers - it was not at all muddy.

People were starting to arrive, Jan's Blackboard Van (she has a new van since I last saw her) was there in all its splendid glory and the "Sausage People" who seem to do a variety of excellent sausages also arrived at the same time as we did.

The campsite seemed excellent to me - flat, grassy and well drained. Where we camped it was easy to drive pegs in. Loads of space - as much as is likely to be needed as far as I could see. Showers and toilets were in place and the generators were arriving as we put the tent up. There is a late night geodesic dome in one corner for chilling out late on.

The area around Shepley had directional signs for people to follow and
it all looked good to me.
