I agree w/ harpgirl's post, but I notice that no one has responded to it, pro or con. Many of us who have been around for 2+ years are discouraged by the amount of repetitive, superficial chat. We are still lurking, hoping that what we loved about Mudcat may resurface. Those of us who are less patient have probably already given up & left. If you noticed, many of the names in my recent birthday thread haven't been seen much lately. I am finding very little that I want to read or add to. I'll stay as long as I can stand it, because Mudcat *was* great.

All of that said, I do acknowledge people's right to be who they are & do as they see fit. And I don't want to diminish myself by attacking others, but, people, please take a look at what you are contributing & how you are presenting yourselves to the world. I think we've lost the balance.
