Like Harpgirl I also get discouraged and frustrated when I see certain names come up on threads as 99% of the time they aren't saying anything other than "Here I am". TTCM and Another Conscience aren't the first ones with irrelevant, self-obsessed postings.It seems they have given some folks on the Mudcat a taste of their own medicine. Now they are to be blamed for the lack of music content? I'm sorry, but however much you may personally dislike a victim its still not right to blame them for disturbing the peace when they complain of their injuries. I don't agree with TTCM's or AC's tactics but I sympathize with the underlying frustration.

So the question is, how can we restore balance when even bringing the question up is met with either silence or a severe, defensive, response? Surely a group of people who are dedicated to keeping some traditions alive and giving voice to songs that others don't can think of a way to do this.
