Subject: RE: Lyrics to Next fall when the work's all done
I remember parts of the song, but not much. "That's OK Rose would say, Don't you worry none. We'll have good times by and by next fall when the works all done."

"And then in the spring of 43 Rose took a terrible chill. She went to sleep and I guess she's sleeping still."

"Our only son went off to fight in 1944. A year went by and we got word he wouldn't be coming home anymore.

Maybe this will help someone remember. The song reminds me of my grandparents.
