When I was about 17 and as green as grass I was boiling water in an electric jug - being the junior at work I had to make morning tea - and the jug had no lid. I thought it was taking a long time to boil so I stuck my finger in to see how hot it was......bbbbbbzzzzzzzzzzz.........

Never did that again.
